JCU - Master of Social Work

Brief:

We recently had the pleasure to create some JCU Slice of Life stories in Townsville and Cairns. The videos are centered around the Master of Social Work and feature professors and students from each campus. The team were also given the opportunity to go throughout the JCU Townsville campus to observe the professors and their students in their daily routines.

Although this production was originally set to have a singular operator it was the perfect opportunity to bring along trainees to experience some first hands-on experience. Thanks to our makeshift production trolly we were also able to run the production smoother with ease of transport and shelving for smaller equipment. We were also fortunate that our scouting party found a suitable shooting place that protected our team from the sun and rain without compromising the aesthetics of the background.

Thanks to the flexibility of our team and work ethic the final product came out as expected with great results. James Cook University is known to have a few of these videos already produced and we are excited to be involved in their Slice of Life video series.
