Simply Dance - Ayr - 2020

Over the course of a two-day production, OmniTitan was able to help an Ayr dance school perform and entertain an audience once again. Due to the pandemic, the dance group that usually performed for a live audience found themselves unable, as the pandemic swept through in 2020. Given that Ayr is a usually booming culture-driven town it came as quite a hit to the community. That’s where the decision was, to make a movie out of all the performances and display it for all to see at a drive-in cinema. Our crew shot in 5 different locations with the main being held in the Burdekin Theatre. Other locations were at a nearby beach, the gym, a local school multiplex, and a bowling alley!
The production consisted of 3 cameras collecting the content of the student's dancing. Following this, the film required editing and syncing of music and movements cutting between all the different camera feeds. By the end of the project, the exports were hand-delivered as the content was too large to send online!
